Hello Members,

I have just updated our Premium portfolio. You can see the updated portfolio here.

Brief highlights:

  • Reduced allocation to one of the stocks that has appreciated nicely over the last month

  • Added 2 new positions that I have written about on this site. One of the stocks had to wait to be added to the portfolio as it did not play well enough with the existing portfolio earlier. Now we are able to add a small allocation to it. The 2nd stock is a recently reviewed stock and I am exceedingly positive on this.

  • There are some minor updates to allocations to the remaining stocks to account for price changes

Before I go into more details, I want to let you know that I have been spending quite a bit of time in the last week screening and reviewing some deep value ideas. These include net-net stocks as well as some stocks that carry more cash on their books than the market cap. These are the holy grail stocks of value investing, and I will be writing more about these in the coming days. We may have one or two new additions to the portfolio coming out from this.

I want to reiterate: we do not buy every stock that we find to be attractive based on the valuation. It is not my goal to maximize the returns on any individual stock. My goal is to maximize the returns of the overall portfolio while eliminating the risk of permanent capital loss.

Now let’s look into our portfolio changes in detail.
